The Capital Classic resumed Wednesday with three matchups at Woodbridge Middle School.

In the day’s opener, the Seaford boys downed Campus Community, 42-37, powered by ten point efforts from both Brent Rickards and Jayden Palmer.

Davion Wisher led the way for Campus Community, scoring a team high nine points. Meanwhile, both Keith Fields and Amir Cooper finished with eight points apiece.

The Woodbridge and Seaford girls took the floor for game two at Woodbridge Middle, with Woodbridge coming out on top, 35-22.

Three Woodbridge players finished in double figures, including Sierra Smith who led the way with 13 points and Janieria Scott and Cha’Kya Johnson who both finished with 10 points apiece in the victory.

Azareya Kilgore scored a team high 10 points for Seaford, which helped them keep pace with Woodbridge well into the second half.

Closing out Wednesday’s action, the Millsboro boys took care of Woodbridge, 41-18.

Both Jeremiah Wilson and Dani Dennis finished with 10 points apiece for Millsboro in the win.

Derek Cannon led the way for Woodbridge, scoring a team high four points.

The Capital Classic moves to Mariner Middle School on Thursday for four games. The full schedule is below:
