Democrat for 7th District Representative


Each candidate was asked to respond to three questions.

1. What are the top issues you will address in your campaign and what are your plans for moving those issues forward?

My top priorities are to focus on the core needs of my district. A strong economy, supported schools, and healthy people. For the economy, we need to grow beyond the historic approach of making huge tax concessions to attract a few large employers, we need a more balanced approach. We get a bigger bang for our buck by fostering the growing small and medium size businesses owned and operated by Delawareans. For schools, we need to support the funding of our Public Schools where a tremendous amount of good and transparent work is put into our community, and we need to listen to the needs and voices of teachers, students, and families. For health, we need a healthcare spending benchmark so that we can calculate the total cost of healthcare in our state, and track trends to build solutions, to slow the growth of costs while improving overall health outcomes.

2. What makes you uniquely qualified for the political office you seek?

My years of experience as an activist and community organizer give me the experience to effectively represent the 7th District in the Legislature. As a financial professional and fiduciary I am well versed with upholding the highest ethical standards and demystifying
