The Creative Arts Ministry of Calvary Church, Dover, will present the Broadway version of the musical “A Christmas Carol” from Dec. 4-8 in Calvary’s sanctuary/theater, 1141 E. Lebanon Road.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Dec. 4, 5 and 6; 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 7; and 2 p.m. Dec. 8.

This is the second and final year that Calvary will present “A Christmas Carol,” the classic Charles Dickens tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the grumpy miser who comes to realize through a series of dreams that his legacy is one of uncaring selfishness. God gives him a second chance, and he makes the most of it.

Featured players in a cast and crew of 70 include former MET Opera singer Meg Thompson, Brian Givens, Rob Rebeck, Keturah Goldsberry, and Phil Frerichs as Scrooge.

Admission is free and open to all, with no reserved seating. Doors open one hour before performances, and audiences are encouraged to arrive early for the best seats. Nursery is available.
