A team of three freshmen outdid upper class teams and recently won the DEEP Day Business Case Competition held by Delaware State University.

Meeting the challenge to develop strategies to enable M&T Bank to better address the needs of its multi-cultural communities, The Edwards Team — Madison Edwards, Margarita Isbell and Anonda Speaks — took first place in the competition. Their coach was Francine Edwards, dean of the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

The annual DEEP — Delaware Executive Exchange Program — Day was held Oct. 23 by DSU’s College of Business, which hosted various business professionals to participate in panel discussions and workshops with the university’s students.
