Two suspects with firearms demanded cash and fled, police said.

Two suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Hardee’s restaurant on Greentree Drive, west of Dover off Route 8, Sunday, Sept. 1.

They entered the restaurant with firearms at 9:47 p.m. and demanded cash. The employees complied, and the suspects fled with the money, police said.

The first suspect was described as a black male, six foot tall, with an athletic build and carrying a shotgun-style firearm. The second suspect was described as a black male, five foot six inches tall, slim build and carrying a small caliber pistol.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
