The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 27 for the Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co., 1284 McD Drive, Dover.

Brewing craft beer in Dover since 2007, Fordham & Dominion launched its new taproom. Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co., a Mid-Atlantic tradition since 1995, has become known in Central Delaware for its craft beers and craft sodas. From its start in Kent County, Fordham & Dominion was established as manufacturing operation with tours and tastings available. Product purchases had to be made at local distributors. In early 2018, changes were made, making it possible for the company to sell its products straight from the brewery. A remodeling project was completed at the facility, and Fordham & Dominion officially became a taproom and brewery. Customers who visit the Tap Room will be able to purchase full pints, beer flights, beer-to-go and merchandise.

Fordham & Dominion participates in community programs, such as the Certified Tourism Ambassador program. The brewery has also donated its products to local nonprofits to help in community fundraising events and celebrations.
