Deputy Larry Warner retired from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office on May 31 after 18 years of serving Kent County.

Warner was a Dover police officer from 1974 to 1995 assigned to the patrol unit and motorcycle unit and was a driving instructor prior to becoming a deputy sheriff.

Kent County Sheriff Brian E. Lewis presented the deputy with an award for his service.

“It has been a privilege to serve under Sheriff Lewis and enjoyed his time in the office,” said Warner.
