Kim Warfield was sworn in as a Kent County Deputy Sheriff on June 3.

She comes to Kent County Levy Court as a retired law enforcement officer from the New York City Police Department, where she was a detective in the Chief of Detectives Investigations Unit and led the detective squads in delivering their investigative cases. Warfield has a Bachelor of Arts in humanities, a Master of Theological Studies from Palmer Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Christian counseling and Christian education from Faithway Bible College.

“I look forward to having Deputy Warfield as part of my staff and am confident that her skills, experience and leadership qualities will serve the residence of Kent County well,” said Sheriff Brian E. Lewis.
