The men have been identified as Russell Burton and Devon Cannon.

Dover police have arrested two men after drugs were found in the vehicle they were driving.

Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the arrests were made at about 7:46 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the area of South New and Division streets when officers made a vehicle stop.

A search turned up 252 bags of heroin, Hoffman said.

The two were identified as 29-year-old Devon Cannon and 28-year-old Russell Burton.

Each is charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, while Cannon also faces a single count of possession with intent to deliver heroin.

After processing, both were released on their own recognizance.
