NCALL, a member of the NeighborWorks network, is receiving $375,000 in a flexible grant from the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, dba NeighborWorks America, to support its affordable housing and community development activities.

“We are grateful to be a member of NeighborWorks and thankful for their support and generosity,” said NCALL Executive Director Karen Speakman. “This grant allows NCALL to continue to improve the housing situation for many Delawareans as well as assist with community development efforts throughout the Delmarva Peninsula.”

The $375,000 provides NCALL with operating support and the ability to utilize a portion as capital funding for its loan fund and real estate development lines of business to go towards affordable homes and community facilities.

The grants from NeighborWorks have been an asset to NCALL fulfilling its mission, vision and values. In 2018, the number of units developed and households assisted by NCALL was 4,178. The total financing leveraged $96,233,409.
