The suspect is identified as 20-year-old Jordan C. Manus.

Delaware State Police have arrested a Camden man after he was seen entering an unoccupied home three times.

Division spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said the incident took place at about 10:15 a.m. Friday, March 15 in the 500 block of Old Mill Road.

A witness reported hearing breaking glass and seeing someone enter and leave the home, Jaffe said. Troopers were sent to the home at 12:46 p.m. when the same individual was again seen going inside and leaving the house. However, the man had left by the time troopers arrived.

A check of the grounds showed someone had broken a sliding glass door as a way of getting inside, Jaffe said.

Troopers were sent again about an hour later when they were told the same individual had gone inside for the third time. The man still was inside when troopers arrived and ran away, but was caught and arrested a short time later.

The man was identified as Jordan C. Manus, 20, she said.

Manus is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief. He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on an $8,600 secured bond.
