Soncera Taylor, of Dover, joined dozens of Cedar Crest College students who traveled to Athens, Greece, recently as part of the Carmen Twillie Ambar Sophomore Expedition.
The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend eight to 10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activities.
The Sophomore Expedition is part of Cedar Crest nEXt, an initiative that helps to prepare students for life after college.
