The thief appears to be a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dover police are looking for a man who broke into a local cell phone store.

The burglary took place just before 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17 at the Metro PCS store at 464 North Dupont Highway, Dover.

Officers went to the store after an alarm sounded, department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said. They learned the burglar was able to enter the building by breaking a hole through the glass in the front door.

He ran away after grabbing four display phones, Hoffman said.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect to be a black man wearing a Philadelphia Eagles knit hat, dark coat, and jeans. 

Police are continuing their investigation; anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover police at 736-7130. Tips may be left anonymously.
