John Fund, author, columnist and national TV commentator, will keynote the Kent County GOP annual Lincoln Day Dinner set for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, 1131 N. Dupont Highway.
Fund is a columnist for “National Review” and senior editor of “The American Spectator.” He's also a frequent guest on C-Span and Fox News and is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal and other media. He comments on immigration, voter fraud and other national issues.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to bring a national figure to Dover," said Kent County GOP Chairman Hank McCann. “Fund has expertise on a range of topics and is his own man when it comes to expressing them. He's written for ‘Esquire,’ ‘Reader's Digest,’ ‘Reason’ and ‘The New Republic,’ and has authored multiple books including ‘Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy,’ in 2004, and ‘Who's Counting?" How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk,’ with Hans von Spakovsky in 2012.
