Tidemark Federal Credit Union, formerly Sussex County Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Seaford, recently broke ground on two new branches in Selbyville and Long Neck.
Construction of the new branches recognizes the need to serve a growing resort area populous seeking modern banking and financial services. With branches currently in Seaford, Lewes, Milford and Millsboro, the new Routes 54 and 24 locations will be conveniently located for personal and business banking services as well as drive-thru and secured after-hours lobby ATM access.
Assisting Tidemark FCU in realizing their vision of providing a modern banking experience to their members, Davis, Bowen & Friedel Inc. was hired to provide architectural, engineering and surveying services. DBF worked with Tidemark FCU to create a branch prototype design that was efficient, flexible for several different locations, and of a quality that emphasizes the Tidemark FCU brand. The buildings have been customized to a beach area locale utilizing stone and natural light for a warm, inviting banking experience. During the design process, the DBF team utilized a number of 3D models to develop the prototype and assist Tidemark FCU in visualizing the branches serving their members throughout Sussex County.
Constructing the new branch location for Tidemark FCU is Bunting Construction Corp. located in Selbyville. Ground was broken for both locations, and construction is expected to be completed prior to the summer season. Bunting Construction has served Tidemark FCU as their builder for several of their recent branch locations. In addition to general construction, Bunting Construction’s Cabinet Shop will be providing and installing cabinets and millwork, including the individual banking stations designed for the personal banking experience Tidemark FCU seeks to provide their members.
