The Biggs Museum of American Art, 406 Federal St., Dover, will host the third annual Happy Holidays Dover from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1.

The main feature will be the "kids only" holiday shop, where children ages 4-12 can purchase gifts for their family and friends that range in price from $1 to $10.

"Back by popular demand, this event has become a family favorite for children, parents, and grandparents," said Charlie Guerin, executive director of the Biggs Museum of American Art. "The items for sale in the 'kids shop' are primarily made by Delaware artists — so they are not only fun for kids to shop, but also fun for their friends and family to receive. Plus, the children's choirs help put everyone in the holiday spirit."

Activities throughout the day include the “kids only” holiday shop, with gifts including handmade ornaments, jewelry, keychains and bookmarks; treats and coffee from The House of Coffi; local children's choir performances; an expanded gift shop of handmade holiday items, from Delaware By Hand artists; live demonstrations from local craftsmen; and a special display of miniature holiday themed dollhouses by Delaware craftsman and a unique "poinsettia tree" in the lobby.

Admission is free.
