Victim suffers non-life threatening injury
Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night in Seaford.
The incident was reported on Monday, October 29, at around 11:30 p.m., when troopers responded to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for a report of a shooting victim. A 26-year-old Seaford male advised that he was visiting a friend in the 24000 block of German Road and, while standing in the front yard, was shot in his lower extremity by an unknown suspect.
The victim transported himself to the hospital, where he was treated and released with a non-life threatening injury. There is no suspect information at this time.
