The suspects are a man and woman in their 30s

State police are investigating a robbery that took place late Tuesday evening.

Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said that at about 11:19 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 troopers were sent to the first block of Webbs Lane, where they contacted a 51-year-old man.

The man said he was outside his apartment when two armed people came up and pointed their weapons at him. The victim threw his wallet on the ground prompting the suspects to grab it and run away.

He was not injured, Jaffe said.

The first suspect is a black man about 6 feet tall weighing between 185 and 190 pounds and approximately 30 years of age.

The second was a woman standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall weighing 135 pounds and also in her 30.

Both were wearing all-dark clothing, Jaffe said.
