The victim was robbed of his phone, backpack, and cash
Officers with the Dover Police Department are investigating a reported robbery in the Manchester Square neighborhood.
Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the incident took place at about 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 in the first block of Stevenson Drive.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, said he was unloading a vehicle when two men came up to him and demanded he hand over his property. When the victim refused, one of the men pulled a handgun and repeated his demand, along with a ride.
The victim was told to drive east of White Oak Road near Acorn Lane, where they stole his phone, backpack, and money before running away.
The suspects were described as black men, both wearing dark clothing, one with a T-shirt wrapped around his face, Hoffman said.
Police are continuing their investigation; anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover police at 736-7130. Tips may be left anonymously.
