Christopher Stiemling allegedly stole a truck from a dealer's lot
The Delaware State Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Seaford burglary and vehicle theft suspect.
The initial investigation has determined that sometime between 2 p.m., Saturday, June 16, and 7:30 a.m., Monday, June 18, forcible entry was made into Ed’s Auto Center, located at 26779 Masters Way. Once inside the business, the suspect took the keys to a 2005 Dodge Ram pick-up truck that was parked in the lot and then made off with the vehicle. The truck has since been recovered.
Detectives were able to identify 51-year-old Christopher T. Steimling, of Seaford, as a suspect in the burglary and vehicle theft. Warrants have been obtained charging him with third-degree burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, theft under $1,500, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief under $1,000.
Steimling is known to frequent the areas of Seaford, Delaware and Marydel, Maryland. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective A.
