Some fun First State events to check out this weekend.
1. Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute will take listeners on a nautical journey through one of America’s greatest bands.
Members of Sail On have performed with musicians from Brian Wilson’s band, The Zombies, Earth Wind and Fire, Cheap Trick and Mark Lindsay.

2. Fitz & the Tantrums have a retro vibe that draws from the Motown era.
Led by songwriter Michael Fitzpatrick, the group has evolved into a coed septet.
The band now consists of Fitzpatrick (lead vocals), Noelle Scaggs (lead vocals and percussion), James King (saxophone, flute, keyboard, percussion and guitar), Joseph Karnes (bass), Jeremy Ruzumna (keyboards) and John Wicks (drums and percussion).
Fitz & the Tantrums’ musical style can be described as “soul influenced indie pop.”

3. Rock-poppers Late Last Night is all about keeping you grooving when the sun goes down.
The Philly cover band is comprised of some of the hottest new talent on the scene.
