Capital Grange, 911 S. Governors Ave., Dover, is offering a free six-week workshop, “Chronic Pain Self-Management,” from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays beginning May 31.
This research-based program developed by Stanford University can help one become empowered to improve his or her quality of life. Participants will learn how to more easily manage medication; understand the benefits of exercise; manage symptoms of stress, pain and fatigue; and make smarter decisions related to healthy eating. Participants will also receive a copy of “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain.”
The workshop will meet May 31; June 7, 14, 21 and 28; and July 5.
