Steak, ribs, shrimp, and music. What could be better?

The Walter L Fox American Legion Post 2 at 835 South Bay Road, Dover, is offering steak dinner on from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 5. The dinner is open to all.

The dinner includes a 12-ounce ribeye cooked to order, with salad and French fries, baked potato or onion rings for $15.

Ribs and shrimp also will be available at a cost of $12 per rack of ribs or $12 for one pound of shrimp, or half and half for $13. The Legions’ ribs are some of the best in the area. Either comes with coleslaw.

Following dinner, the Jimmy Cochran band will perform. All are welcome to stay for the live entertainment beginning at 8 pm, although children and young adults under the age of 21 are only allowed within the Post up to 10 p.m.

The Dover American Legion is on a non-smoking trial period until August 13. At that time, a general membership vote will take place to determine if the Dover Legion will remain non-smoking.
