The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce and Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity ReStore held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 17, welcoming the new year with the ReStore’s new management team, new look and new product lines.

CDHFH ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement outlet that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home essentials and décor, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price.

The store recently went through a renovation and unveiled its new look. New product lines were introduced during the last several months including painting materials, wood laminate flooring, carpet tiles and furniture.

“ReStores play an integral part in Habitat’s global mission. They generate financial support for our work while offering local individuals, families, groups and organizations a unique opportunity to interact with habitat staff, volunteers, community partners and partner families. It gives them a chance to experience being an important and direct part of our local work,” said CDHFH Executive Director Dan Simpson.
