Randy J. Holland, who recently retired from the Delaware Supreme Court, will be the featured speaker at the annual meeting of The Friends of the John Dickinson Mansion at 5 p.m. June 6 at John Dickinson Plantation, 340 Kitts Hummock Road.
Holland, a Milford native, is a recognized authority on the Delaware Constitution and has written on Delaware history. His book, “Middle Temple Lawyers and The American Revolution,” which he co-authored with British judge Eric Stockdale, contains a chapter on John Dickinson’s law studies in London.
Holland’s talk will be preceded by a wine and cheese reception and tours of the Dickinson Mansion at 4 p.m. At the conclusion of the talk, attendees can join a dinner at Sambo’s Tavern, 283 Front St., Leipsic.
