The store clerk was not hurt during the robbery.

A man armed with a knife pulled off a successful robbery of a Little Heaven convenience store over the weekend.

The incident took place at about 9:39 p.m. Sunday, March 26 at the Shore Stop located at 7865 Bay Road, Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

The man came up to a store clerk, demanded cash, and then ran off after receiving the money.

The clerk was not hurt, Fournier said.

The suspect is a black man between 20 and 25 years of age who stands between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall. He weighs about 160 to 170 pounds and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt pulled up and tightened around his face.

There are no surveillance photos available, Fournier said.
