No injuries have been reported in the two January incidents
State police are investigating a shooting and a firebombing at a home in north Dover.
Division spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said both incidents took place in the first block of Harriet Street, Dupont Manor. The area is in an enclave not inside the Dover city limits
On Tuesday, Jan. 10, troopers went to the home to investigate a report about gunshots having been fired; their investigation showed at least two men had fired at a home and then fled northbound on U.S. Route 13.
The suspects were driving a dark-colored extended cab pickup, Bratz said.
The two women sleeping in the home were not hurt, he added.
Eight days later, at about 1:04 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, someone threw an incendiary device under a vehicle at the home. The suspects fled in a silver or gray four-door sedan while the vehicle burned, Bratz said.
There are no injuries, he said.
One of the suspects is a black man standing about 5 feet 7 inches in height. There is no additional description, Bratz said.
