One of the robbers was armed with a handgun, the other with a shotgun.

Two armed men escaped with cash following a robbery of two store clerks in Frederica Monday night.

The robbery took place at about 9:02 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Family Dollar store at 126 Front St., Frederica, Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

Two men came into the store, demanded cash and ran away after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

One man was armed with a handgun while the other threatened the clerks with a shotgun.

The clerks were not injured, Fournier said.

Both suspects were black men wearing all black clothing with black masks covering their faces. There were no additional descriptions provided and no surveillance photos are available, Fournier said.
