No injuries were reported.

There were no reported injuries following a shooting incident in Dover Sunday night.

Dover Police Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said police went to the area of the Town Pointe apartment complex at 8:09 p.m. Jan. 15 to respond to a complaint about shots having been fired.

A resident of a nearby home in the 300 block of Frear Drive told officers a shot had been fired through a window in the home and that a bullet was lying on the floor.

There were several people in the home at the time, but no one was hit, Hoffman said.

Police are continuing their investigation; anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover police at 736-7130. Tips may be left anonymously.
