Homicide detectives with the Delaware State Police are asking the public’s help in trying to find a Dover man wanted in a 2015 murder case.

Anthony E. McDonald, 38, is wanted for first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

McDonald is wanted in connection with the March 27, 2015, murder of Richard L. Jacobs Jr., 44, of Dover. Police were called to the Meadowbrook Acres area near Woodside where they found Jacobs’ body in the front seat of a Ford Escort.

An autopsy resulted in a ruling of a homicide with death being caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

McDonald is known to frequent the Dover, Magnolia and Woodside areas and also has ties to Philadelphia.

Anyone coming in contact with McDonald should use caution as he is considered armed and dangerous, Fournier said.
