Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity announced it will dedicate the Thompson, Bowman and Wester family homes.

The Thompson family home, 20 S. Kirkwood St., Dover, will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Dec. 16. The Bowman family home, 41 S. Queen St., Dover, will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Dec. 20. The Wester family home, 27 N. New St., Dover, will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Dec. 21.

The three families were accepted into the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity program in 2016 and have completed the required 250 hours toward the completion of their home. One hundred of those required hours were completed on the build site working side-by-side with volunteers; others were completed in financial literacy courses, volunteering in the CDHFH ReStore and at local community events.

The Thompson, Bowman and Wester families will be new homeowners before Christmas. They will have mortgages with a zero percent interest rate that is held by CDHFH.
