A man who was on house arrest was taken into custody in Dover after he was found with crack cocaine and a digital scale used to weigh the drug.

Ronald Jones, 38, was apprehended without incident at 7:23 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19 at a home in the 100 block of Willis Road, Dover Police Department spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

Officers with the department, the First State Fugitive Task Force, and Delaware State Police conducted a search warrant at the home and seized 24.1 grams of crack, Hoffman said.

Jones was issued an administrative violation of probation warrant by probation and parole officers. He is charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of crack cocaine (more than 20 grams), possession of a counterfeit controlled substance and a probation violation.

He has been jailed at the Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna.
