An added attraction this year will be the Biergarten, near the main stage on Market Street Plaza, featuring a selection of Blue Earl Brewery beers and mixed cocktails from Painted Stave Distillery.
Returning for its third year, "Smyrna at Night" will bring more than 20 bands and solo artists to downtown Smyrna Friday, June 10 from 5:15 to 10:15 p.m.
The free music festival will also feature food vendors, retail vendors and games.
An added attraction this year will be the Biergarten, near the main stage on Market Street Plaza, featuring a selection of Blue Earl Brewery beers and mixed cocktails from Painted Stave Distillery. All guests 21 years of age and older can purchase drinks for $5 each.
Downtown venues hosting musical performers include The Inn at Duck Creek, Sheridan’s Irish Pub, Drunk’n Baker, Odd Fellows Café, Smyrna Opera House, Smyrna Music Garden and Painted Stave Distillery. Blue Earl Brewery in the Smyrna Business Park will also be open with musical performances.
The headliner will be Lower Case Blues, performing on the main stage on Market Street Plaza near the town hall and post office.
The lineup also includes Single Origin, playing alternative soul; Nik Everett, playing acoustic rock; blues band Barrelhouse Blues, folk group Honey Badgers, pop artist McKinley Short, rock group Lovebettie, reggae group Jahiti, indie rock act Wylder, folk/rock artist Keith Kenney and bluegrass-rockabilly band The Quixote Project.
Families with younger children will enjoy outdoor games in an alcohol-free environment on South Main Street, including giant Jenga, corn hole, hula hooping, chalk games and more. Programs at Smyrna Music Garden on the corner of Main and Commerce streets will also be kid-friendly.
Smyrna at Night is commissioned by the town's Economic Development Committee as part of an active effort to grow evening and weekend entertainment options for residents and visitors. It is a joint production from Strongpoint Marketing, Gable Music Ventures, and the Town of Smyrna.
