The 2016 Delaware Wetlands Conference, which will be held Feb. 3-4 at the Chase Center in Wilmington.

Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s Wetland Monitoring and Assessment Program and the Coastal Training Program are organizing the two-day gathering, which will emphasize the importance of wetlands. Registration is open for the conference, held Feb. 3-4 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. Discounts are available until Dec. 22. Registration closes Jan. 27.

It will include keynote speakers, workshops, poster sessions, lunches and a total of 54 concurrent sessions that cover wetland restoration, climate change, mapping, education and outreach, planning and conservation and plants and animals.
