An airman stationed at Dover Air Force Base has died at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital.
Airman 1st Class Lincoln T. Johnson died the morning of Thursday, Oct. 1, said 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Officer Capt. Sarah Bergstein.
Johnson, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, was assigned to the base legal office as a military justice paralegal and had been assigned to the 436th AW since September 2014.
“We're deeply saddened by the loss of our teammate, Lincoln,” said Col. Michael Grismer, 436th Airlift Wing commander. “A loss of any one of our Team Dover members is felt by all of us. Our most heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time.”
The incident surrounding Johnson's death is under investigation and no further details will be provided at this time, Bergstein said.
