A man and woman are wanted by Dover Police after they allegedly burglarized a local home.

Amanda and Obed Delgado are wanted on charges of second-degree burglary, theft of property valued at less than $1,500 where the victim is more than 62 years of age, and second-degree conspiracy, said Dover Police Department spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.

The burglary took place between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Feb. 19, in the first block of River Chase Drive, Hoffman said.

Amanda Delgado, who is a member of the victim’s extended family, had stayed there the night before, but the victim made her leave when he left for a hospital visit. After returning, he noted a laptop computer and 60-inch television were missing. There were footprints in the snow leading to a bedroom window, where the burglars had entered the home, Hoffman said.

A witness spotted both Delgados inside while the victim was not home, Hoffman added.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Obed and Amanda Delgado is asked to call Dover Police at 736-7111.
