Due to strained vocal chords, Selena Gomez has cancelled her Wednesday, July 28, concert at the Delaware State Fair. Allstar Weekend will perform a free concert in her place, and full refunds will be issued.

The Delaware State Fair announced today that the July 28 Selena Gomez performance has been cancelled due to strained vocal chords. Gomez’s physician has ordered her to vocal rest and no traveling on airplanes for the next week.

The show can not be rescheduled before the end of the fair. A full refund will be given to those who purchased their tickets directly from the Delaware State Fair.

For those who purchased tickets and paid by credit card, the card will automatically be credited in the amount of the original purchase; two weeks should be allowed for this credit to post to the account.

If paid by cash or check, allow for up to four weeks for the processing of  refunds. A receipt of a refund check will be sent by mail.

Allstar Weekend will perform a free concert in Gomez's place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, in the Wilmington Trust Grandstand. The concert is free and open to anyone, and no ticket is required for admission.
