Robert Lee Richardson, 64, of Millsboro, formerly of Wyoming, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009.

    Friends of the late Robert Lee Richardson, 64, of Millsboro, formerly of Wyoming, may call on the family for a memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Old St. Georges Chapel, Beaver Dam Road, Angola.

    Mr. Richardson died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, in the Delaware Hospice House, Milford.

    Born June 3, 1944, in Centreville, Md., he was the son of the late Joseph Richardson and Gertrude Ewing Richardson.

    Mr. Richardson owned Eastern Shore Mason Builders Inc., was a developer and owner of Trading Post Plaza and Missy’s Kountry Kitchen in Oak Orchard. Over the years he was instrumental in the development and building of Old Mill Acres I and II.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Melissa Richardson; a goddaughter, Melissa Luciano of Millsboro; and a grandson, Eric Wayne Luciano Jr.

    Mr. Richardson also is survived by his best friend of more than 30 years, John R. Townsend; two brothers, Joseph E. Richardson of Smyrna and James E. Richardson of Harrington; two sisters, Joanne R. Clothier of Chestertown, Md., and Norma J. Fishpaw of Ewington, Va.

    A private interment in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, is planned.

    Funeral arrangements are by the Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Richardson’s name may be made to the Tunnell Cancer Center, 18947 John J. Williams Highway, Unit 213, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
