Atwell, Irene Nutter – Milford. Died at age 98, Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in the Milford Center. Interment was in the Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.

Bennett, Frederick Augustus II – Milford. Died at age 83, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009. Interment was in the Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Argos Corner, Milford. Arrangements were by the Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.

Coulbourn, Calvin Brooks – Federalsburg, Md. – Died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009. Survived locally by a daughter, Patricia Harding of Dover; and by a son, Senior Master Sgt. Mike Snodgrass of Dover.

Deakyne, Kathleen Johnson – Smyrna. Died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, in Dover. Friends may call on the family at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at the St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.

Hopkins, James E. – Salisbury, Md. Died at age 55, in Salisbury. Locally survived by a daughter, Lakeisha Reynolds of Dover. Interment was in the St. Johns Second Baptist Church, near Millsboro. Arrangements were by the Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.

Pritchett, Lennard Layton – Milford. Died at age 52, Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. Interment was in the Milford Community Cemetery. Services were by the Berry Short Funeral home.

Singh, Mohiner Partap – Queens, N.Y. – Died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. Survived locally by Dr. Gurmeet Singh of Dover and Wilmington, and his daughter-in-law, Shiret. Arrangements were by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover.
