News to know

Rebels who have been fighting Moammar Gadhafi’s regime in Libya took control of most of Tripoli on Monday. The capital city had been the stronghold of Gadhafi’s forces, and while there was still fighting taking place Monday, rebels claimed victory. Meanwhile, Gadhafi was nowhere to be found, with officials saying he hadn’t left the country, but no one was sure where he was hiding out. President Barack Obama said Monday, “The Gadhafi regime is coming to an end, and the future of Libya is in the hands of its people."
