Anita E. Hudson, age 72 of Smyrna, DE, died January 31, 2012.

Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gregor and Theresa Schenk Bachman.

Mrs. Hudson had worked as a legal secretary with the Legal Services Office of the U.S. Air Force and had lived in Prescot, AZ prior to moving to Dover. At the time of her death she was residing in Smyrna, DE.

She had been a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and had treasured the time spent with her family.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Hudson was predeceased by her first husband, George Plitsch in 1987, and her second husband, Harold Hudson in 2006.

She is survived by her son, G. Christopher Plitsch  and wife Caroline Russo of Revere, Mass. and daughter, Jennifer Plitsch and husband Jeffrey Hydrick of Arlington, VA. along with five grandchildren.

 Friends may call starting at 9:30 a.m.  on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Polycarp Catholic Church 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE 19977. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
