Class designed for moms and their babies
The city of Dover Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Mommy & Me Fitness class, for mothers with babies ages 1 to 3, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 2 to 25, at the Pitts Center, Dover.
The class is an ideal way for mothers to bond with their babies while burning calories.
Classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills, yoga, and abdominal exercises to help improve core strength and lose inches fast.
Incorporating a baby into regular exercise can be fun for a mom and her baby, and provide the mom an opportunity to recondition muscles that may have become weakened from pregnancy.
The activity fee is $25.

Yoga, Pilates class provides lunch-time workout
The city of Dover Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Lunch Time Yoga/Pilates class from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 2 to 25, at the Pitts Center, Dover.
The class is designed to tighten your core, arms and legs and de-stress your mind.
The activity fee is $25, and participants should bring a mat and water.

Kickboxing class begins March 1
The city of Dover Parks and Recreation Department is offering Interval Kickboxing from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesday, March 1 to 24, at the Pitts Center, Dover.
The workout is designed to change the body from head to toe by doing five-minute intervals of kickboxing and weight training. Interval training revs up metabolism and burns fat fast.
Following 30 minutes of the interval training, the class will conclude with floor work.
The activity fee is $25, and participants should bring a mat and hand weights.

Three sessions of Sole to Soul to be offered
The city of Dover Parks and Recreation Department is offering three sessions of Sole to Soul line dancing at the Dover Park Recreation Center, White Oak Road, Dover.
The sessions will be from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 25 to April 1; and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 27 to April 3.
The class is geared toward those unfamiliar with line dancing, but experienced dancers are welcome to come for the fun and exercise.
The activity fee is $40 and a waiver must be signed the first day of class.
