Ham/turkey shoot to be held at Ellendale VFW
The Ellendale Ruritan Club will host a ham/turkey shoot at 11 a.m., signup at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Ellendale Veterans of Foreign Wars, 14820 VFW Road, Ellendale.
Refreshments will be available for sale with proceeds benefiting the Ellendale VFW.

Dover Interfaith Mission to host tournament
The Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing will hold a softball tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge, 760 Moose Lodge Road, Camden.
The Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing Shelter Guests have challenged the Rain Design Landscape employees to a softball tournament that will provide funds to help DIMH continue to house and feed homeless men in the Kent County area.
All donations to support the program are tax deductible and can be mailed to P.O. Box 1148, Dover, DE 19901.

The Maple Dale 18-Hole Ladies played in a Most Pars or Better game Oct. 6 and an S&T game Oct. 13 at Maple Dale Country Club, Dover.
The winners of the Oct. 6 game were: Jean Wagner, first, and Maud Willim, second.
The winners of the Oct. 13 game were: Connie Muterspaw, first, and Willim, second.
