Boys officials needed for upcoming season
The state’s lacrosse officials association is seeking officials for boys games for the upcoming season, with training beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the State Police Troop 2 Building, Route 40, Bear.

Registration for Central Delaware club opens Feb. 6
The Central Delaware Lacrosse Club will hold signups for the 2010 Central Delaware Diamonds Girls Lacrosse Club from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, Feb. 6 and 20, in the lobby of the Eden Hill Medical Center, Dover.
Teams include U9, U11, U13 and U15, all of which play in the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse League, covering the eastern shore of Maryland and southern Delaware areas.
Games are played Saturdays at home and away locations. All coaches are adults and registered with the United States Lacrosse Association.
The cost is $75 for club dues and $25 for USL membership, which is mandatory.

S.L.T. turkey shoot set for Jan. 31
The S.L.T. Fishing Club will host a turkey shoot at noon Sunday, Jan. 31, at 1111 Crystal Road, Hartly.
Winners will receive meat as well as cash prizes. Hot lunch will be available.
