Growlers arrive in Dover
Posted Aug. 1, 2013
Gov. Jack Markell signed House Bill 31 into law in May, allowing liquors stores in Delaware to sell growlers and fill them with draft beer in their stores. Previously growlers were only available at breweries or brewpubs.
Growlers have finally made their way to the capital city. Liquor Depot on Forest Avenue in Dover is the first store in Kent County to offer the service.
