A month-long investigation into illegal drug sales in Kitts Hummock has led to the arrest of a 24-year-old Dover man.

Dover resident Christian Millet, of the unit block of Weeping Willow Court, faces several charges, including child endangerment and delivery of a controlled substance after Kent County and Dover police executed a search warrant at his home Thursday, Feb. 16, according to a Delaware State Police news release.

Police say when they arrived, Millet walked away from his house. When officers attempted to catch up with him, he allegedly threw down a plastic bag, which contained two grams of cocaine, and ran.

The bust netted .02 grams of heroin and 5.8 grams of marijuana, according to the release.

Millet’s two young children were reportedly at his home during the arrest.

Authorities committed Millet to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of a $38,500 bond.
