New Castle —
Delaware State Police have arrested three suspects – including two New Castle men – in connection with multiple Kent County home invasions that occurred last fall.
The trio was extradited to Delaware on Friday from Elkton, Md., where they had been in custody on robbery charges, police said.
Lamott E. Stevenson, 28, and Adriene Stevenson, 24, both of New Castle, and a woman from Elkton, Johnmika Daniels, 26, were each charged with five counts of first-degree robbery. The trio also were charged with three counts each of possession of a firearm, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony and criminal mischief.
The Stevensons were being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center while Daniels was in custody at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute. All three were being held in lieu of $424,000 bail each.
According to a report, the charges stem from three separate incidents in October and November. The three allegedly broke into homes on Whitehall Neck Road in Smyrna, on Pearson’s Corner Road in Dover and on Judith Road in Hartly. After reportedly confronting the homeowners with guns, they allegedly took cash and other valuables before fleeing, the report said.
