Authorities have charged Kenneth and David Yarborough in a string of burglaries in Camden and Dover between Jan. 4 and Jan. 10, according to a Delaware State Police.

The police’s Troop 3 detectives, along with investigators with the Camden and Dover police departments investigated the burglaries, which happened during day-time hours at homes on Brookwood Drive in Camden-Wyoming, Ashland Avenue in Camden-Wyoming, Chanticleer Circle in Wyoming and Josie Avenue and Mannering Drive in Dover.

Typically, the burglars forced their way into homes when residents weren’t at home and took safes, jewelry, electronic devices and large amounts of cash.

Authorities eventually connected Kenneth Yarborough, 26, and David Yarborough, 20, to the burglaries.

Police obtained search warrants for their home, which is in the 300 block of Northdown Drive in Dover and recovered cash, electronic devices and seized three vehicles, two of which were allegedly purchased with the burglary proceeds.

David Yarborough was charged with five counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of theft of more than $1,500, two counts of theft below $1,500, two counts of criminal mischief and one count of second-degree conspiracy.

He was arraigned and released after posting a $62,200 secured bail.

Kenneth Yarborough was charged with the same charges and was released after posting a $16,000 secured bail after arraignment.
