Special Olympics-DIAA track meet

Special Olympics teamed up with DIAA to give all high school students a chance to participate in the state track championship meet held Friday and Saturday at Caesar Rodney High School in Dover

Del Vets Artisan Fair

The 7th Annual Spring Artisan Fair was held May 18 at the Delaware Veterans Post 2 in Dover. A total of 25 Kent County artists and artisans showcased their work. Proceeds from vendor fees benefit Delaware Veterans Post 2's Benevolent and Scholarship Fund.

PHOTO GALLERY: Sunsational fun at the Speedway

Despite a major rain delay, more than 80 students from 10 schools across the state were on hand Wednesday in the parking lot of the Dover International Speedway to test model cars they powered with attached solar cell arrays. The annual Junior Solar Sprint competition was designed to expose students to ideas about alternative energy technology. First place in the design competition was taken by Caravel Academy’s car No. 17; first place in the racing competition went to Beacon Middle School’s car No. 18.
