Greater Dover Foundation completes brick project The Greater Dover Foundation last month installed the fourth and final set of bricks for the Brick by Brick Campaign in front of Citizen’s Bank and Mitten and Winters in downtown Dover. The work took place April 30. The project entailed raising $110,000 by Dec. 31, 2007. Funds raised throughout the campaign are being used to help endow Dover’s future by providing grant money through the foundation for local non-profit organizations and public institutions each year. This year’s grant money will benefit programs/projects that focus on youth and/or the revitalization of downtown Dover, said Executive Director Lisa E. Ratliff. Grant recipients will be announced in June 2008. For more information about the Greater Dover Foundation, additional brick sales and/or the yearly grant cycle, contact Ratliff at 734-2513.
